Raghu Dhital is the Deputy Director of BNMT Nepal. He has over 18 years of experience working with the organization including its mother organization, the Britain Nepal Medical Trust, UK. His main responsibilities are to develop policies, strategies, plans and activities for the TB control program, to establish good coordination and collaboration with government authorities, District Health Offices, NGO partners and advocates and to facilitate the successful implementation of Tuberculosis Control Program. Raghu worked as a TB REACH WAVE- 2 Project Manager from February 2012 to June 2014. He has been directly involved in Active Case Finding through systematic mobilization of community health volunteers and initiated Microscopic Camp in hard to reach areas of Nepal. His main interest is to replicate TB REACH Active Case Finding learning in hard to reach areas of Nepal.
Raghu supervises the BNMT field staff implementing the DrOTS project and ensures effective liaison with technical and government partners.
